The BMH servo motor is part of the Lexium 32 series of servo drives. This series of three-phase AC servo motors has a medium rotor moment of inertia and is perfectly adapted for applications with high loads. Thanks to the winding technology, a very high power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal standstill torque of 3.4 Nm and achieves a peak torque of 10.2 Nm. Its rated speed, depending on the supply voltage, is up to 6500 RPM. This results in a voltage-dependent rated power of up to 1540 W. The built-in encoder is designed as a single turn with 16 periods/revolution (16x1024) as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made using connectors 2x M23, angled at 90° and rotatable. For mounting, the motor flange is 70 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 14 mm. The shaft end is designed with a keyway and is compliant with IP65 rating. The motor housing complies with the IP65 rating. An integrated holding brake is included. For the operation of the synchronous motor, the servo amplifiers of the Lexium series LXM32 are recommended.
