The BMH servo motor from the Lexium 32 series of servo drives. The BMH series of three-phase AC servo motors has a medium rotor moment of inertia and is perfectly adapted for applications with high loads. Thanks to the winding technology, a very high power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous stall torque of 2.48 Nm and reaches a peak torque of 7.44 Nm. Its rated speed, depending on the supply voltage, is up to 5000 RPM. It has a voltage-dependent rated power up to 1080 W. The built-in encoder is of Multiturn type with 128 periods per revolution (128x1024x4096) in SinCos Hiperface design. The electrical connection is via 2x M23 connectors, turned by 90 degrees and rotatable. For mounting, the motor flange is 70 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 11 mm. The shaft end is designed as a keyway and conforms to protection class IP54. The motor housing corresponds to the protection class IP65. There is no holding brake available. For the operation of the synchronous motor, the Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers are recommended.
