The Altivar Machine ATV320 product range is a variable speed drive offering designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact form factor allows for vertical stacking of drives within machine frames. It operates at a rated power of up to 15 kW / 20 HP and a rated voltage of 200 V to 240 V AC. Its robust construction with class 3C3 coated circuit boards according to IEC 60721-3-3 extends machine availability under harsh environmental conditions, such as ambient temperatures of up to 60°C without the need for additional cooling. It features capabilities suitable for the most common applications including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with flux vector control without sensor. It also allows parallel connection of motors and special drives using the voltage/frequency ratio and the static speed accuracy and energy saving for synchronous motors with open-loop control. It weighs 6.9 kg and has dimensions of 180 mm width, 330 mm height and 198 mm depth. These help machines meet safety requirements, whether they are used in conjunction with a Preventa safety module or not. These safety features are configured with SoMove software. Altivar Machine ATV320 was developed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), covering simple to advanced application requirements in packaging, material handling, textile, material processing, mechanical actuators, and lifting operations. It conforms to IEC, UL, TUV, KC and other international standards. Mounting accessories and external options (braking resistors, line chokes, motor chokes, additional EMC filters) are available for Altivar Machine ATV320 inverters. The type of external accessories and options depends on the inverter performance. The product is delivered in two packages. It is intended for mounting in a vertical position (+/- 10°) on a panel thanks to 4 mounting holes. It is fully integrated into Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Machine via DTM. It is possible to configure, control and diagnose ATV320 drives directly in the SoMachine and SoMove software with the help of the same software module (DTM). It is environmentally friendly and complies with directives such as RoHS, WEEE, etc. for environmental protection.
