The Altivar Machine ATV320 product range is an offering of variable-speed drives designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact form factor allows for vertical stacking of drives in machine racks. It operates with a rated power of up to 11 kW / 15 HP and a rated voltage of 200V to 240V AC. Its robust construction with Class 3C3 coated circuit boards according to IEC 60721-3-3 extends machine availability under harsh environmental conditions, such as ambient temperatures up to 60°C without the need for additional cooling. It features functions suitable for the most common applications, including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with sensorless flux vector control, and an extended frequency range for high-speed motors. It also allows for the parallel operation of motors and special drives using the voltage/frequency ratio, as well as static speed accuracy and energy savings for open-loop synchronous motors. It weighs 6.8 kg and has dimensions of 180 mm width, 330 mm height, and 198 mm depth. The drive software includes 5 safety functions, which help machines to meet safety requirements, whether used in conjunction with a Preventa safety module or not. These safety features are configured with the SoMove software. Altivar Machine ATV320 is designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), covering simple to advanced application requirements in the fields of packaging, material handling, textiles, material processing, mechanical actuators, and lifting operations. It complies with IEC, UL, TUV, KC, and other international standards. Mounting accessories and external options (brake resistors, line chokes, motor chokes, additional EMC filters) are available for Altivar Machine ATV320 inverters. The type of external accessories and options depends on the inverter power. The product is delivered in packaging. It is intended for vertical mounting (+/- 10°) on a plate thanks to 4 mounting holes. It is fully integrated into the EcoStruxure machine from Schneider Electric via DTM. It is possible to configure, control, and diagnose ATV320 drives directly in the SoMachine and SoMove software using the same software component (DTM). It is environmentally friendly and fulfills guidelines such as RoHS, WEEE, etc. for environmental protection.
