The Altivar Machine ATV320 product range is an offering of variable speed drives designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact form factor allows for vertical stacking of drives in machine racks. It operates with a rated power of up to 2.2 kW / 3 HP and a rated voltage of 200 V to 240 V AC. Its robust design with coated PCBs of class 3C3 according to IEC 60721-3-3 allows for extended machine availability under harsh environmental conditions. For example, at ambient temperatures of up to 60°C, without the need for additional cooling. It includes features suitable for the most common applications, including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with sensorless vector control. It also allows for the parallel connection of motors and specialized drives using the voltage/frequency ratio and static speed accuracy and energy savings for open loop synchronous motors. It weighs 1.4 kg and its dimensions are 105 mm wide, 143 mm high and 138 mm deep. These help machines meet safety requirements, whether used in conjunction with a Preventa safety module or not. These safety features are configured with the SoMove software. Altivar Machine ATV320 was developed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). They cover simple and advanced application requirements in the fields of packaging, material handling, textiles, material processing, mechanical actuators and lifting operations. It complies with IEC, UL, TUV, KC and other international standards. Mounting accessories and external options (brake resistors, line reactors, motor chokes, additional EMC filters) are available for Altivar Machine ATV320 inverters. The type of external accessories and options depends on the inverter's power. The product is delivered in two packages. It is intended for vertical mounting (+/- 10°) on a plate thanks to 4 mounting holes. It is fully integrated into Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure machine via DTM. It is possible to configure, control and diagnose ATV320 drives directly in SoMachine and SoMove software with the help of the same software block (DTM). It is environmentally friendly and complies with directives such as RoHS, WEEE, etc. for environmental protection.
