The Altivar Machine ATV320 product range is an offering of variable speed drives designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its robust design with class 3C3 coated circuit boards according to IEC 60721-3-3 extends machine availability in harsh environmental conditions. For instance, at ambient temperatures of up to 60°C without the need for additional cooling. It features functions suitable for the most common applications, including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with sensorless flux vector control. It also allows for parallel connection of motors and specialty drives using the voltage/frequency ratio and static speed accuracy, and energy saving for open-loop synchronous motors. It weighs 1.4 kg and its dimensions are 105 mm wide, 143 mm high and 138 mm deep. These help machines meet safety requirements whether used in conjunction with a Preventa safety module or not. These safety features are configured with the SoMove software. The Altivar Machine ATV320 was designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), covering simple and advanced application requirements in packaging, material handling, textiles, material processing, mechanical actuators, and lifting operations. It complies with IEC, UL, TUV, KC, and other international standards. Mounting accessories and external options (brake resistors, line chokes, motor chokes, additional EMC filters) are available for Altivar Machine ATV320 inverters. The type of external accessory and options depends on the inverter power. The product is delivered in a package. It is intended for vertical mounting (+/- 10°) on a plate thanks to 4 mounting holes. It is fully integrated into Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Machine via DTM. It is possible to configure, control, and diagnose ATV320 drives directly in SoMachine and SoMove software with the help of the same software block (DTM). It is environmentally friendly and complies with directives such as RoHS, WEEE, etc. for environmental protection.
