The VigiPacT RH197M is a residual current monitoring relay for DIN rail mounting. It provides protection against direct or indirect human contact, fire hazards, and motors. It measures the ground fault current in an electrical system through its associated toroidal transformer. It trips the associated circuit breaker when the set fault current is exceeded. The operating voltage is 220/240V AC 50/60Hz. It is a Type A ground fault protection class. The current sensitivity can be selected with 19 thresholds from 30 mA to 30 A. The time delay can be selected with 7 settings from immediate to 4.5s. The alarm is set by dip switch at 50% or 100% of IDn. A switch allows the choice between manual reset on-site or automatic reset after troubleshooting. The monitored voltage of the distribution system is up to 1000V AC 50/60/400Hz. It is installed on a DIN rail in a switchboard and has an IP40 protection rating. It must be connected to a compatible Schneider Electric toroidal or rectangular sensor of Type A.
