Stainless steel (VA) material: V2A. Temperature-resistant up to 400 °C. Acid and rust resistant. Ring shape. Particularly suitable for earthing and lightning protection of aluminum support and frame elements in photovoltaics. The VA cable lug can be used as a connecting element for connecting copper conductors to aluminum elements, as VA has no corrosive or electro-chemical reactions with either material. When using commercially available copper tubular cable lugs, the less noble metal (in this case aluminum) can be successively eroded under the influence of moisture and electrical voltage, thus destroying the frame profiles!
