The BMH servo motor from the Lexium 32 series of servo drives. The BMH series of three-phase AC servo motors features a medium rotor inertia and is perfectly adapted for high-load applications. Thanks to the winding technology, a very high power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous standstill torque of 2.48 Nm and achieves a peak torque of 7.44 Nm. Its rated speed, depending on the supply voltage, is up to 7000 RPM. This results in a voltage-dependent rated power of up to 1380 W. The built-in encoder is designed as a multiturn with 128 periods/revolution (128x1024x4096) as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via 2x M23 connectors in a straight design. For mounting, the motor flange is 70 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 11 mm. The shaft end is designed as a keyway and conforms to the IP65 protection rating. The motor housing is in accordance with IP65 protection class. There is no holding brake present. For operating the synchronous motor, the Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers are recommended.
