Description
The BMH servo motor is part of the Lexium 32 series of servo drives. The BMH series of three-phase AC servo motors features a medium rotor inertia and is perfectly adapted for applications with high loads. Thanks to the winding technology, a very high power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous standstill torque of 62.5 Nm and reaches a peak torque of 220 Nm. Its rated speed is up to 2400 rpm depending on the supply voltage. It has a voltage-dependent nominal power up to 6.26 kW. The built-in encoder is designed as a multiturn with 128 periods per revolution (128x1024x4096) as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via connectors M40 and M23, angled at 90° and rotatable. The motor flange for mounting measures 205 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 38 mm. The shaft end is smooth and complies with protection class IP65. The motor housing also conforms to IP65 protection. There is no holding brake present. For the operation of the synchronous motor, the Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers are recommended.
