The BMH servo motor from the Lexium 32 series of servo drives. The BMH series of three-phase AC servo motors has a medium rotor inertia and is perfectly adapted for applications with high loads. Thanks to the winding technology, a very high power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous stall torque of 1.4 Nm and reaches a peak torque of 4.2 Nm. Its rated speed is up to 5000 RPM, depending on the supply voltage. There is a voltage-dependent rated power of up to 680 W. The built-in encoder is a multiturn with 128 periods/revolution (128x1024x4096) as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via 2x M23 connectors, angled at 90° and rotatable. For mounting, the motor flange is 70 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 11 mm. The shaft end is designed as a woodruff key and conforms to the protection rating IP54. The motor housing corresponds to protection class IP65. There is no holding brake available. The Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers are recommended for operating the synchronous motor.
