The Acti 9 iID residual current circuit breaker offers a 1.5kA interrupt capacity (IEC/EN 61008-1). It features a 2-pole configuration with a nominal current of 25A and ground fault sensitivity of 30mA. The earth leakage protection class is Type A, with an operating voltage (Ue) of 230V AC and an insulation voltage (Ui) of 500V AC. It ensures additional protection against direct contact (≤ 30mA) and provides fault protection for indirect contact situations, such as insulation faults (> 100mA, ≤ 300mA). It also provides fault protection in construction power distribution units (500mA) and is designed for switching and disconnecting circuits. The breaker facilitates low-wear contact switching via a snap action mechanism. Equipped with a mechanical front-sided trip indication (VisiTrip) for signaling overloads or short circuits and a safe contact indicator (VisiSafe) which, upon showing green, ensures there is no voltage present on the output side. It features a test button for regular functional checks. The double connection terminals accommodate cables or busbars from either side. The breaker is easily removable from the busbar thanks to the front-accessible fastening element. Auxiliary modules can be added as options – undervoltage release (iMN), overvoltage trip (iMSU), shunt trip (iMX), auxiliary switch for status indication (iOF), fault signal switch (iSD). The device allows tool-free mounting to the side of the unit. The color code is RAL 9003. The iID residual current circuit breaker conforms to IEC/EN 61008-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2 standards and also has VDE certification.
