Description
The BMH servo motor is part of the Lexium 32 series of servo drives. The BMH series of three-phase AC servo motors features a medium rotor moment of inertia and is perfectly adapted for applications with high loads. Thanks to the winding technology, there is a very high power density in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous standstill torque of 3.4 Nm and achieves a peak torque of 10.2 Nm. Its nominal speed, depending on the supply voltage, is up to 5000 rpm. Depending on the voltage, there is a nominal power up to 1520 W. The built-in encoder is designed as a single turn with 16 periods/revolution (16x1024) as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via 2x M23 connectors in a straight design. For mounting, the motor flange is 100 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 19 mm. The shaft end is smooth and conforms to protection class IP54. The motor housing corresponds to protection class IP65. There is no holding brake present. For the operation of the synchronous motor, the Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers are recommended.
