The BMH servo motor from the Lexium 32 series of servo drives. The BMH series of three-phase AC servo motors has a medium rotor inertia and is perfectly adapted for applications with high loads. Thanks to the winding technology, a very high power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous stall torque of 3.4 Nm and reaches a peak torque of 10.2 Nm. Its rated speed is up to 4000 rpm depending on the supply voltage. A voltage-dependent nominal power up to 1130 W results. The built-in encoder is executed as a multiturn with 128 periods/revolution (128x1024x4096) as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via connectors 2x M23, angled and rotatable by 90 degrees. The mounting flange of the motor is 70 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 14 mm. The shaft end is smooth and complies with protection class IP54. The motor housing corresponds to protection class IP65. There is no holding brake present. The servo amplifiers of the Lexium series LXM32 are recommended for the operation of the synchronous motor.
