Description
The BMH servo motor from the Lexium 32 range of servo drives features a medium rotor moment of inertia and is perfectly adapted for applications with high loads. Thanks to its winding technology, a very high power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous stall torque of 3.4 Nm and reaches a peak torque of 10.2 Nm. Its rated speed depends on the supply voltage and can go up to 6500 RPM. The resultant rated power is up to 1540 W, depending on the supply voltage. The built-in encoder is a multiturn with 128 periods/turn (128x1024x4096) in SinCos Hiperface design. The electrical connection is made via 2x M23 connectors, angled at 90° and rotatable. The motor flange for mounting is 70 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 14 mm. The shaft end is designed as a keyway and conforms to protection class IP54. The motor housing is rated at protection class IP65. An integrated holding brake is included. For the operation of the synchronous motor, the use of the Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers is recommended.
