The BMH series servo motor is part of the Lexium 32 range of servo drives. This series of three-phase AC servo motors features a medium rotor inertia moment and is perfectly suited for heavy load applications. Thanks to winding technology, a very high power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous stall torque of 3.4 Nm and achieves a peak torque of 10.2 Nm. Its rated speed depends on the supply voltage and can go up to 6500 rpm. The voltage-dependent rated power can go up to 1540 W. The built-in encoder is single-turn with 16 periods/revolution (16x1024) executed as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via 2x M23 connectors, angled at 90° and rotatable. The motor flange for mounting is 70 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 14 mm. The shaft end is smooth and conforms to protection class IP54. The motor housing is rated IP65. There is no holding brake present. For operating the synchronous motor, the LXM32 series servo amplifiers from the Lexium range are recommended.
