This frequency inverter Altivar 212 is capable of feeding 3-phase asynchronous motors. It has an IP21 protection class. It operates with a nominal power of up to 22 kW / 30 HP and a nominal voltage of 200 V to 240 V AC. Its design is based on eco-energy, reducing energy consumption by up to 70% compared to a conventional control system. Thanks to the cable heating reduction technology, the Altivar 212 drive offers immediate, trouble-free operation. Furthermore, it avoids additional options such as a grid choke or a DC choke to eliminate current harmonics. It weighs 27.4 kg and has the following dimensions: 240 mm wide, 420 mm high, 214 mm deep. It was specifically developed for the most common fluid management applications in tertiary sector buildings (HVAC), such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and pumps. The Altivar 212 offers optional motor chokes that can increase the maximum cable lengths between drive and motor and limit disturbances at the motor terminals. It is designed for vertical mounting (+/- 10°) on a plate with 4 mounting holes.
