The Altistart U01 is a soft start/soft stop device for 3-phase asynchronous motors. It is primarily intended for use in conjunction with TeSys U starter controls. It can be used for a motor rated power of up to 11 kW or 15 HP for 3 phases (200 V to 480 V AC) and up to 22 A. With a width of 45 mm, it is one of the smallest soft starters on the market. It can be installed almost anywhere. It features an integrated bypass, which reduces noise and heat output. The protection class is IP20. It weighs 0.49 kg and has the following dimensions: 45 mm wide, 314 mm high, 170 mm deep. The Altistart U01 is designed for the following simple applications: conveyor belts, pumps, fans, compressors, automatic doors and gates, small cranes, and belt-driven machines. It meets the standards IEC/EN 60947-4-2 and comes with UL, CSA, C-Tick and CCC certifications, as well as the CE marking. It can be easily combined with a TeSys U controller using the power connector VW3G4104. It is simple to install on a DIN rail.
