The Altistart U01 is a soft start / soft stop device for 3-phase asynchronous motors. It is primarily intended for combination with TeSys U starter controls. It can be used for a motor with a rated power of up to 4 kW or 5 HP for 3 phases (200 V to 480 V AC) and up to 9 A. With a width of 45 mm, it is one of the smallest soft starters on the market. It can be installed almost anywhere. It has an integrated bypass that reduces noise and heat emission. The protection type is IP20. It weighs 0.34 kg and has the following dimensions: 45 mm wide, 234 mm high, 150 mm deep. The Altistart U01 is designed for the following simple applications: conveyors, pumps, fans, compressors, automatic doors and gates, small cranes, and belt-driven machines. It meets the standards IEC/EN 60947-4-2 and carries the certifications UL, CSA, C-Tick, and CCC as well as the CE marking. It can be easily combined with a TeSys U control using the power plug VW3G4104. It is easy to install on a DIN rail.
