The Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 is designed for starting and stopping asynchronous motors with voltages ranging from 208V to 690V. It meets the requirements of the most demanding applications in normal and heavy duty operation. With a rated current of 110A under normal overload, it operates motors from 30kW to 90kW depending on the mains voltage. Engineered for digitalization, connected, optimized for compliance with cybersecurity standards, it simplifies project execution and maximizes the availability of applications. Its Torque Control System (TCS) masters acceleration and deceleration. Thanks to dynamic braking and DC injection, applications with high inertial loads are efficiently managed. It can be connected in-line with the motor or in a delta configuration to reduce the operational current. The embedded test routine simplifies startup in delta configuration.
