Ensures additional protection in case of direct contact (≤ 30mA). Fault protection in case of indirect contact, e.g. in case of insulation faults (≥ 100mA, ≤ 300mA). Fault protection in construction power distribution (500mA). Switching and disconnecting of circuits. Jump switching for reduced-wear contact switching. With mechanical front-side fault indication (VisiTrip) showing tripping due to overload or short circuit.
