The Acti9 iCV40N VigiARC is an AFDD (arc fault detection device/fire protection switch) for detecting arc faults in combination with an RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection). It features a 1P+N pole configuration, 13A nominal current, and a C curve characteristic. The residual current device is a Type A-SI with a sensitivity of 30mA, and the earth fault protection operates instantly. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity goes up to 6000A at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 61009-2-1, and 10kA at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 60947-2. This AFDD, in combination with the RCBO, protects against short-circuit, overload current, electric shock from indirect contact, and fire hazards due to arc faults.
