Description
PROFINET POF repeater is used to diagnose light signals. The device precisely determines when the attenuation has reached a critical point and a cable assembly needs to be replaced. The LEDs clearly signal an alarm when the tolerance is exceeded. To guarantee secure transmission of the Ethernet data, “FreeCon Active” checks in real time the entire transmission path for its optical budget – from the control cabinet to the robot head, for example. The repeater meets the specifications of AIDA.
