The BSH servo motor from the Lexium 32 range of servo drives. This series of three-phase AC servo motors features low rotor inertia, allowing for high acceleration capability for dynamic applications. Thanks to winding technology, a higher power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous stall torque of 0.5 Nm and achieves a peak torque of 1.5 Nm. Its rated speed depends on the supply voltage and goes up to 9000 RPM. A voltage-dependent nominal power of up to 440 W can be achieved. The built-in encoder is designed as a multiturn with 128 periods per revolution (128x1024x4096) as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via 2x M23 connectors in a straight design. The motor flange for mounting is 55 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 9 mm. The shaft end is smooth and conforms to protection class IP54. The motor housing is in accordance with protection class IP65. There is no holding brake available. For operating the synchronous motor, the Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers are recommended.
