The Acti9 iCV40N VigiARC is an AFDD (arc fault detection device/fire protection switch) for detecting arc faults in combination with an RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection). It features a 1P+N pole configuration, 13A nominal current, and a C curve characteristic. The residual current device is a Type A-SI with a sensitivity of 30mA, and the earth fault protection operates instantly. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity goes up to 6000A at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 61009-2-1, and 10kA at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 60947-2. This AFDD, in combination with the RCBO, protects against short-circuit, overload current, electric shock from indirect contact, and fire hazards due to arc faults. The two unique VisiTrip indicators on the Acti9 iArc reduce intervention time by showing the tripped circuit and quickly identifying the type of fault.
