The BSH series of Lexium 32 servo drives consists of three-phase AC servo motors with a low rotor inertia, allowing for high acceleration capabilities for dynamic applications. Thanks to the winding technology, a higher power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous stall torque of 1.2 Nm and can achieve a peak torque of 3.5 Nm. Its nominal speed, depending on the supply voltage, is up to 9000 rpm. This results into a voltage-dependent nominal power of up to 970 W. The built-in encoder is of the singleturn type with 128 periods/revolution (128x1024) executed as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via 2x M23 connectors in a straight design. The motor flange for mounting is 55 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 9 mm. The shaft end is equipped with a keyway and conforms to protection rating IP65. The motor housing is also IP65-rated. An integrated holding brake is included. For operation of the synchronous motor, the Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers are recommended.
