This BMI drive unit consists of the actual servo motor and the associated power stage. The servo motor's maximum standstill torque is 2.96 Nm. A three-phase power supply with 208-480 VAC powers the servo, for which the power connection module VW3M9003 is needed. For mounting, the motor flange dimensions are 70 mm. The end of the motor shaft features a keyway and is designed for protection class IP54, while the motor housing is rated for IP65. The servo motor is composed of 3 power levels. The built-in Sin/Cos Hiperface absolute encoder is designed as a multiturn with 16 periods per revolution (32768 Pts/R x 4096 revolutions). There is no holding brake.
