Ensures additional protection upon direct contact (≤ 30mA). Fault protection for indirect contact, e.g., insulation faults (≥ 100mA, < 300mA). Fault protection in temporary power distribution (500mA). Switching and disconnecting of circuits. Step switching for low-wear activation of contacts. With mechanical front-side fault indication (VisiTrip) showing tripping by overload or short circuit.
