The ComPact INS and INV switches are load break switches with rotary handles. All ComPact INS/INV load break switches are designed for disconnection as defined in the IEC 60947-1 and 3 standards. The mechanical design of the ComPact switches ensures that the position of the drive always reflects the position of the main switch - the disconnected position corresponds to position O (OFF). The actuated drive cannot display the OFF position if the switch is open. Locking in the OFF position is not possible if the switch is open. Usage category AC21A, AC22A, and AC23A.
