The BSH series servo motor from the Lexium 32 range of servo drives. This range of three-phase AC servo motors features a low rotor moment of inertia, allowing for high acceleration capability for dynamic applications. Thanks to winding technology, a higher power density is achieved in a compact design. This servo has a nominal continuous stall torque of 8.0 Nm and can reach a peak torque of 28.3 Nm. Its rated speed depends on the supply voltage, up to 4800 rpm. It has a voltage-dependent continuous output of up to 2560 W. The built-in encoder is designed as a single turn with 128 periods per revolution (128x1024) as SinCos Hiperface. The electrical connection is made via 2x M23 connectors in a straight configuration. For mounting, the motor flange is 100 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 19 mm. The end of the shaft is equipped with a keyway and complies with the protection type IP54. The motor housing corresponds to the protection class IP65. There is no holding brake. The Lexium series LXM32 servo amplifiers are recommended for operating the synchronous motor.
