The Altivar Machine ATV320 range is a variable speed drive lineup that has been developed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact form factor enables vertical stacking of drives in machine frames. It operates with a rated power of up to 5.5 kW / 7.5 HP and a rated voltage of 380 V to 500 V AC. Its sturdy construction with Class 3C3 coated circuit boards according to IEC 60721-3-3 allows for extending machine availability under harsh environmental conditions, such as ambient temperatures of up to 60°C, without the need for additional cooling. It features functions suitable for the most common applications, including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with sensorless vector control. It also allows for parallel operation of motors and dedicated drives using the voltage/frequency ratio and static speed accuracy, and energy saving for open-loop synchronous motors. It weighs 2.2 kg and has dimensions of 150 mm width, 232 mm height, and 172 mm depth. Altivar Machine ATV320 covers simple and advanced application requirements in the fields of packaging, material handling, textiles, machining, mechanical drives, and lifting operations. It complies with IEC, UL, TUV, KC, and other international standards. Mounting accessories and external options (braking resistors, line chokes, motor chokes, additional EMC filters) are available for Altivar Machine ATV320 inverters. The type of external accessories and options depends on the inverter power. The product is delivered in two packages. It is intended for vertical mounting on a panel, thanks to 4 mounting holes. It is fully integrated into Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Machine via DTM. It is possible to configure, control, and diagnose ATV320 drives directly in SoMachine and SoMove software using the same software block (DTM). It is environmentally friendly and complies with directives such as RoHS, WEEE, etc. for environmental protection.
