The Altivar Machine ATV320 series is a range of variable speed drives developed for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Its compact form factor enables vertical stacking of drives within machine frames. It operates with a rated output of up to 11 kW / 15 HP and a rated voltage of 380 V to 500 V AC. Its robust construction with Class 3C3 coated circuit boards according to IEC 60721-3-3 extends machine availability under harsh environmental conditions. This includes ambient temperatures of up to 60°C without requiring additional cooling. It features capabilities suitable for the most common applications, including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with sensorless vector control. It also allows for parallel connection of motors and special drives using the voltage/frequency ratio and static speed accuracy, and energy savings for open-loop controlled synchronous motors. It weighs 6.8 kg and has the following dimensions: 180 mm wide, 330 mm high, 192 mm deep. The Altivar Machine ATV320 covers simple and advanced application requirements in the fields of packaging, material handling, textiles, material processing, mechanical drives and lifting operations. It complies with IEC, UL, TUV, KC and other international standards. Mounting accessories and external options (braking resistors, network inductors, motor chokes, additional EMC filters) are available for Altivar Machine ATV320 drives. The type of external accessories and options depends on the inverter power. The product is delivered in two packages. It is intended for vertical mounting on a panel, thanks to 4 fixing holes. It is fully integrated into Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Machine via DTM. It is possible to configure, control, and diagnose ATV320 drives directly in SoMachine and SoMove software using the same software block (DTM). It is environmentally friendly and complies with guidelines such as RoHS, WEEE, etc. for environmental protection.
